I was a little thrown off by this one girl who was there. She reminded me of CG on who I had a crush a couple of years ago. Same type of bright sparkling eyes. I could have sworn she tried to make eye contact a couple of times when I was talking to L who was sitting next to her. I casually avoided that though. Turning in a blabbering idiot in front of a group of mostly strangers ... not a good idea.

It's friggin hot here. I could have gone to the beach with my brother and his friend, but instead I opted to rent Walking Tall, which was ok. The Rock kicking some ass in his old home town with Johnny Knoxville as his sidekick. Not a complete waste of money, but it was all pretty obvious and cliché for the most part. Although I seem to be a bit of a snob when it comes to movies. I talked to some people about Star Wars 3 at the party and they all thought it was pretty good. I thought it was pretty horrible :-S

Not sure what to do with all my time at the moment. I think I'll enjoy doing nothing and being stress-free for a few more days and then get to work on a couple of things. I also get to pick up my new camera (Canon Digital Ixus 430) in the city on Tuesday. The downside is they're working on the train tracks on my route so I have to travel by bus for like an hour. With this heat ... ugh, not looking forward to that.

We're going for dinner for Father's day. Guess I should get ready about now.
