Not much has happened since my trip to Amsterdam. I visited L en M on my way back from the city to my parents. We (or rather, they) went shopping for a bit. I bought a 75 euro blazer. It was sort of a spur of the moment thing. I figured I might as well look at least a little formal when I receive my bachelor degree on Friday.
When I saw a couple of blazers hanging in the store we were in, I tried one on just for fun. Then this guy from the store came up to me and started advising me on what to buy asking me what I needed it for and so on and before I knew it I was trying on one blazer after another. Luckily he had one on sale that fitted me. The sleeves were a little too long, but they could fix that for me. I'm picking it up tomorrow. My parents have no idea I bought it. They didn't have any pants to go with it, but according to the guy in the store with a pair of black shoes and my favorite pair of jeans I apparently look "sporty". Uh yeah, ok.
I haven't really paid much attention to my clothes until recently. I just bought what was comfortable, not really caring all that much how I looked. That meant mostly baggy comfy clothes. I guess I'm sort of growing up. Oh no! Well I'm turning twenty four in August so I guess it's about bloody time.
I'm making a short stop to pick up my blazer and have lunch with friend M, because hopefully she'll have her driving license by the time I meet up with her. So we'll be celebrating, well hopefully we will. Then I'm off to the city to pack up some stuff that has to come back with me to my parents where I'll be spending my summer.
I also get to confront my roommate about that 150 euro he still hasn't paid me back yet. He swears he has already wired it to me, but as of yet my bank account doesn't confirm that. I already sent him an e-mail about it. He says if I haven't received it, he'll pay me in cash. Hm. He'd better. I have a weird feeling there's something very fishy going on with him.
There have also been some developments with the thieving roommate. She was apparently offended by roommate L who had left a note telling everybody to buy their own groceries in stead of stealing hers. The thieving roommate claimed she was actually only stealing a little and we should all just put up with it until she left, which would be soon. Sheesh, the nerve of some people huh?!
Guess I should head off to bed.
