I decided to surprise dad and clean up the house. It worked :-) He was in a pretty good mood.

I called that girl and now I have a date next Friday. I asked her what she wanted to do, see a movie, go out for dinner or go out shopping. She opted to go see a movie, but now I'm thinking that may not be the best idea. If I want to get to know her a movie theatre isn't exactly the best place to that. I suppose we could go for a drink after seeing a movie, but the problem is I don't really know where to go.

I'm supposed to call her on Thursday so we can pick a movie. I think I'm going to ask her if she'd like to go out for dinner in stead. Let's hope she wants to go the place I have in mind, otherwise she'll either have to pick a place (which would be bad I think) or I'll have to take a chance on a restaurant.

I didn't bring back my suit for the family reunion. I think I'd be the centre of attention since nobody is used to seeing me in a suit. I think that'd be a little too uncomfortable. I don't feel too anxious about the reunion ... yet. Frankly I feel more nervous about my date even though it's a week away.
